catering services manager
Renee Bawdin currently serves as the Catering Services Manager. Originally from Victorville C.A., Renee moved to Las Vegas at the young age of 18, which is where she discovered her passion for the special event world. In April of 2017, Renee gave up the west coast sunshine for a lowcountry lifestyle, relocating to James Island with her husband, Brandon, and two cats, Bailey and Guinness. The pair and their pets quickly fell in love with the southern way of life and are currently building a house on Johns Island.
Prior to Mercantile & Mash, Renee started off working for Wynn Las Vegas Resort in 2011, at Daniel Boulud Brasserie, a three-star Michelin rated French restaurant, and Botero Steakhouse. Initially, Bawden was a cocktail server which would then jumpstart her into becoming the Catering Coordinator for Wynn Las Vegas in 2015. Working there for nearly 8 years, Renee assisted with private events to city wide conventions and became refined in the art of event planning.
If not organizing the catering for elaborate events, you can find Renee cooking, fishing, or enjoying an ice-cold beverage of her choice.
With her ability to thrive in fast paced environments and her willingness to go the extra mile to exceed guest expectations, Renee is an essential member to the Mercantile & Mash Team.
